Entry Levels 1,2,3: If you have never studied this subject before and you鈥檙e not confident in your skills, Entry levels are a good starting point.
Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and skills in this subject.
Improvers: The next step if you have basic skills or knowledge but want to progress them further.
Advanced: Build on the solid experience and skills you have in this subject, applying your skills and knowledge in a more complex way.

What we鈥檒l cover
Understand how to adapt your language to your listeners, and change register when necessary
Be able to use a range of verb forms and expressions to explain an anecdote or describe something
Sharpen your conversation skills by listening to others in a discussion and reacting to what they say
Improve your listening skills by picking out important information from conversations or audios
Practise polite ways to clarify or confirm understanding.
This is a preparation course for the ESOL entry 1 speaking and listening qualification. It is not an accredited course.
You need previous knowledge and skills to take this course, that鈥檚 why you鈥檒l need to do a skills check to enrol. Don鈥檛 worry, this isn鈥檛 an exam. It鈥檚 for us to make sure you get on the right course for your level.
