Entry Levels 1,2,3: If you have never studied this subject before and you鈥檙e not confident in your skills, Entry levels are a good starting point.
Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and skills in this subject.
Improvers: The next step if you have basic skills or knowledge but want to progress them further.
Advanced: Build on the solid experience and skills you have in this subject, applying your skills and knowledge in a more complex way.

Course description
This is an ESOL skills for life Entry 3 speaking and listening course. You will continue to develop your verbal communication skills.
This course is for students who have previously learned with us or who have been assessed by our team and supported to join.
This course will help you to improve your speaking and listening skills in everyday conversations and situations. We will look at grammar and vocabulary and how we use them in conversations. The course will be focused on group discussions and group work which will not only help improve your English but make friends with other learners.
Follow the gist of a discussion on a known topic
Make 2 or more contributions to a group discussion on a known topic
Ask and answer 2 or more open questions about a known topic
Listen to a conversation and answer 3 or more gist questions
Listen to a conversation and answer 3 or more questions asking for detail.
